AWARENESS CAMPAIGN ON CYBERBULLYING

Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM) has initiated an awareness campaign on cyberbullying to educate students about its forms, impact, and preventive measures. Cyberbullying, which can occur via social media, emails, and text messages, negatively affects emotional well-being, mental health, academic performance, and social relationships. Common forms include insults and criticism, spreading false information, persistent harassment, extortion, and impersonation.

Students who experience or witness cyberbullying are encouraged to seek help immediately by consulting the counselors located on Level 2, opposite the Student Lounge.

This initiative supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being) by promoting mental health awareness, emotional safety, and social well-being on campus. Through education and support services, UPTM aims to create a safe and supportive environment where students can thrive academically and socially.
