Does your university as a body have a maternity policy that support women's participation?

Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM) continues to implement its maternity and paternity policies that support women’s active participation in the workforce and academic community. These policies, which remain unchanged from last year, ensure a family-friendly environment that promotes gender equality and work-life balance.

According to Peraturan-Peraturan Perkhidmatan Kolej Poly-Tech Mara Sdn. Bhd. (Kemaskini pada 22 April 2022) in Chapter E: MEDICAL, various medical benefits have been provided, including hospital ward fees, maternity treatment, and 98 days of maternity leave as shown below:
