Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM) students are actively involved in activities related to SDG 5. The following are some of the activities in 2023. These activities aimed to promote gender equality by encouraging female students to pursue further studies and explore higher education opportunities, empowering them to reach their full potential.

SCHOLARSHIP
IPMA EXCELLENT STUDENT PROGRAMME (IESP) MARA
On 14 September 2023, another UPTM graduate departed to further her studies abroad at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, in the field of Bachelor of Media (Public Relations & Advertising) under the sponsorship of the IPMA Excellent Student Programme (IESP) MARA.
Shazwani Azra Binti Shahirudin, a native of Selangor, achieved an outstanding CGPA of 3.91 during her Diploma in Corporate Communication studies at UPTM.
Her parents, family members, lecturers, UPTM Student Representative Council (MPP), and Student Affairs Department (HEP) were also present at KLIA to accompany Shazwani. Congratulations to the outstanding UPTM graduate. We wish her continued success and hope she continues to excel at higher levels.
