On August 1, 2025, the Minimum Wage Order 2024 came into full effect. Employers are required to pay a minimum wage of RM1,700 per month or RM8.72 per hour to eligible employees.

Referring to the Federal Government Gazette dated 4 December 2024 regarding the Implementation of the 2024 Minimum Wage, the government has agreed to increase the minimum wage rate to RM1,700 per month (Grade S8).
Based on the decision made during Mesyuarat Khas Jawatankuasa Perjawatan, Pemilihan & Kenaikan Pangkat of Kolej Poly-Tech MARA Sdn. Bhd. (KPTMSB) No. 07/2024, held on 10 September 2024, KPTMSB will implement the minimum wage for Grade S8 effective from 1 February 2025.
