KARNIVAL JOM KERJA KHAS BELIA

Venue: Perpustakaan Al-Khawarizmi , Level 1, UPTM
Description: The "JOM KERJA KHAS BELIA", jointly organized by UPTM & PERKESO, took place today specifically for all youths in the vicinity of Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia's campus and open to the public. Several employers were present to conduct interview sessions, including ETHEREAL Digital, Mood Board, Salihin, Ambank Group, IKEA, Stone Forest, FENOMENA, MARii, KK MART, Guardian, Moevd, Hartalega, Koddocare, PlanWorth, and Wealth Vantage. YBhg Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahim Bin Abdul Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of UPTM, accompanied by YBrs. Prof Madya Dr. Syamsul Fozy bin Osman, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Student Development & Campus Lifestyle at UPTM, and PERKESO Officers, were also present to engage with the employers and youths attending the carnival.
UPTM extends its heartfelt thanks to the co-organizer, PERKESO, as well as the employers who participated in this carnival for their willingness to collaborate in providing opportunities for job seekers and youths present, with best wishes for their future success.

EDUCATIONAL VISIT
Date: 7 September 2023
Venue: Perpustakaan Al-Khawarizmi , Level 1, UPTM
Description: The visit program involved a total of 40 students (Form 5) along with four accompanying teachers from SMK Sultanah Asma (a High-Performance School), Alor Setar, Kedah. The program included a briefing session on continuing education opportunities at UPTM, delivered by Encik Mohd Azidee bin Mohamad Zin, Marketing and Student Recruitment Officer at UPTM. UPTM also took the opportunity to share information about the advantages of studying at UPTM with the attending students. Additionally, an alumni sharing session was conducted by YBrs. Prof Madya Dr. Sharifah Syahirah binti Syed Sheikh, Dean of the Graduate Institute at UPTM, who is an alumnus of SMK Sultanah Asma. The campus visit session also included tours of several locations, such as the IMAC Computer Laboratory, the Library, and the Early Childhood Education Simulation Room.

UPTM OPEN CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2023

A DAY WITH ABANG BOMBA POLIS (ADWABP’23)
Date: 17 Oktober 2023
Venue: Futsal Court & Carpark UPTM
Description: Various activities were presented by the Police (Bukit Aman K-9 Unit) and the Fire & Rescue Department, specifically to provide exposure on duties and some basic fire extinguishing knowledge to the UPTM community, including the UPTM Emergency Response Team (ERT) Committee and open to the public.
Also present at today's program were YBhg. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Syamsul Fozy bin Osman, Deputy President of Student Development & Campus Lifestyle at UPTM, accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhamad Nizam bin Jali, Deputy President of Research & Innovation at UPTM, Mr. Kassim bin Osman, UPTM Registrar, Ms. Che Norhaslina binti Harun, UPTM Deputy Registrar of Finance, the management, deans, lecturers, and the entire UPTM community, including students.
The program was organized in conjunction with UPTM's OSH-FEST 2023 and the SULAM Committee. The UPTM management always provides full commitment to its community in various fields of knowledge, whether academic or self-development skills.

EDUCATIONAL VISIT FROM UNIVERSITAS NEGERI MEDAN (UNIMED) INDONESIA
Date: 10 November 2023
Venue: Universiti Poly-Tech Mara (UPTM)
Description: 15 members of UNIMED delegation, consisting of lecturers and heads of units from the Faculty of Engineering, led by YBhg. Dr. Selamat Riadi, was warmly received by YBhg. Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Zahrah binti Yahya, Deputy President of Academics, Acting President of UPTM, accompanied by the UPTM Senior Management.
The delegation had the opportunity to tour the campus, observing UPTM's student facilities and amenities. An exchange of governance ideologies between technical and non-technical aspects was also on the agenda for today's meeting. UPTM extends its heartfelt thanks for the courtesy visit from UNIMED and hopes that this marks the beginning of a collaborative relationship between the two institutions in the future.
