On 17 and 18 December 2024, Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM) successfully held its 2nd Convocation Ceremony. The event was to celebrate the achievements of graduates in a lively and dignified atmosphere. The convocation brought together students, parents, lecturers, and university leaders in a momentous occasion that reflected UPTM’s commitment to academic excellence and student success. The hall was filled with smiles, applause, and a sense of accomplishment as graduates proudly received their scrolls, marking an unforgettable milestone in their academic journey.

A total of 1,357 graduates received their awards during Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia 2nd Convocation Ceremony. The graduates comprised 447 Diploma (including 1 Posthumous Award), 746 Bachelor’s Degree, 31 Professional, 24 Master’s, 107 Postgraduate Diploma, and 2 PhD recipients. In 2024, a total of 1,357 graduates received their awards, comprising 485 male (36%) and 872 female (64%) graduates, demonstrating the strong presence and success of women at UPTM.

Notably, female graduates outnumbered male graduates, reflecting UPTM’s strong commitment to promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment in line with Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5). This achievement highlights the university’s continuous effort in providing equal opportunities for women to pursue higher education and excel in various academic disciplines.
The Chancellor Award was proudly received by a female graduate, reflecting the outstanding academic excellence and leadership of women UPTM.
