FUTURE CALIPH CENTER

The first session of the Community Learning Center (CLC) community program under APPGM-SDG was successfully conducted today by Dr. Madihatun Binti Zainuddin, comprising lecturers from Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM) in collaboration with the Anjung Hikmah Community Center start from 18 October 2024 until 17 Januari 2025..

The project, named “Future Caliph Center,” aims to promote quality education development among school youth, particularly students from underprivileged or B40 groups.

The program began with the first slot — Quran Recitation Session, where students were introduced to the differences in sounds, pronunciation, and articulation points (makhraj) of the Arabic letters (Huruf Hija’iyyah). This was followed by lessons on basic Tajweed rules, specifically Mad Asli/Tobie. Students then referred to the Quran to identify and apply these Tajweed rules.

The second slot was an IT Innovation session, where students learned how to use Canva to create posters in groups, guided by Teacher Nisrin. This activity helped students enhance their creativity and digital skills in designing appealing posters.

The third slot featured a Mandarin Language session led by Sir Johan. In this introductory session, students learned the correct pronunciation and articulation in mastering basic Mandarin. We look forward to the upcoming sessions. May this program bring meaningful benefits and foster self-development among youth, equipping them with both Fardhu Ain and Fardhu Kifayah knowledge.
